Most of Heathers hats are made from wool or alpaca. These are both natural fibres, of course, and they have many outstanding qualities.
They are warm.
They can absorb moisture without feeling damp.
They can retain their good looks far longer than most synthetics.
They are ecologically friendly.
They are long lasting.
They feel good to wear.
They can, however, be spoilt by careless washing.
Hand wash in luke warm water.
Use a propriety wool wash product.
Lay them flat to dry.
Don’t throw them into the washing machine.
Don’t throw them into the dryer.
Following this advice will ensure that your hat retains it softness and good looks, and will continue to give you pleasure for many years.
I take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information.

Every hat that Heather knits is as perfect as it can be. She is a perfectionist. Any hat that has does have an imperfection is not made available for sale, even when that imperfection is barely visible to me. She receives many compliments about the quality of her knitting.
Heather is very conscientious and always wants to give value for money. I think she sets her prices far too low, but she insists that she is satisfied with where they are.
In some ways I think you could say that Heather is an old fashioned girl with old fashioned values, but this does not apply to her patterns and colours which are right up to the minute
